A woman in Georgia is facing drug possession charges after a recent search of her office at work.

A police officer claims to have recently noticed signs of a break-in at the office of a local insurance agent. Following an initial investigation, which reportedly included a call to the company’s fraud division, a search warrant was obtained for both the woman’s office and place of residence. During the search of her home, authorities allegedly seized various amounts of cocaine and marijuana.

No information was given concerning any evidence found during the initial investigations that would have led to suspicion of criminal activity. Along with potentially facing fraud charges, the woman is reportedly facing two counts of drug possession, one of which being a felony. A conviction for similar charges will have an impact on her life in various ways, and she may currently be focusing on her defense for the road ahead.
